Presenting Qigong’s (pronounced chi kung) Ba Duan Jin, “The Eight Pieces of Brocade”. A set of 8 ancient exercises moving in a flow. The exercise were designed thousands of years ago to open and free blockages in our meridian system, so that the energy can flow to all parts of the body and the blood circulation can flow unimpeded. The Eight Pieces of Brocade, balances the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies, bringing you into a balance. Gentle, flexible, internal/external strength, and an elevated spirit is what you will feel after practicing this set. It is a ‘medical qigong’ and you learn how the emotions affect and create blockages in our systems, and how to release them, or better yet how not to let them be created! Qigong and Yoga produce the same effects, to bring us to the spiritual through the physical. Qigong is done mostly vertical (standing), needs no mat, no special clothes (but loose fitting ones are best).
Anytime — Qigong can be done!
come and experience Qigong!
