Carries goal is to inspire awakened presence, awareness , self esteem, spiritual practice & vibrant conscious living thru yoga & dance. She is professional middle -eastern dance artist, certified yoga instructor (RYT 200) who has also worked as a specialist in the areas of metaphysics, psychic & spiritual development for more than 25 years. She lives in Sedona AZ where she divides her time between , teaching classes in yoga, bellydance & spiritual development while also working with individuals in the realms of spiritual growth as a clairvoyant psychic reader & spiritual guide.
Carrie’s lifelong interests in both dance & spirituality first lead her to discover & explore dance as a movement meditation and path of healing in 1993. Now after a lifetime of personal & professional experience as a dancer, clairvoyant psychic, student of metaphysics and more than a decade of teaching classes in psychic development, yoga & bellydance, Carries experiences have inspired the development of “Goddess Groove”™ ; a dynamic yet meditative, healing dance practice that blends elements of sacred bellydance & yoga with a focus on personal growth & holistic development
“Within the scope of my dance career, I first started noticing that my dancing was having a healing effect on my mind, body & soul in the early 1990?s. That’s when I first started researching dance as movement meditation. Since then I’ve been delving deep into my self using dance blended with a variety of Yogic meditation & breathing techniques, Shamanic healing practices & Earth based Spirituality as a framework for my own holistic healing & spiritual development. Goddess Groove ™ is the result of my own healing dance practice.” Says Carrie.

Goddess Groove is A yogic bellydance workout practice created by Carrie Konyha (RYT200).
The workshop leads participants thru a full Goddess Groove workout routine the includes yogic warm ups & cool downs combined with guided instruction thru a series of specific bellydance movements that bring the 5 natural elements within us (earth, air, fire,water & space) into balance. The workshop culminates into a guided yogic-dance meditation enabling students to experience the holistic benefits of Goddess Groove practice.
