The class starts with a TriYoga flow. TriYoga flows unite breath and focus with the precise natural alignment of flowing and sustained postures. Next, partners team up to support each other to go deeply into a posture to increase flexibility and/or relaxation. Assisted poses will include backward bends (such as camel and bow), forward bends (Child and Butterfly) and balancing poses. All levels are welcome. Bring a friend and have fun!

Gayatri specializes in TriYoga, the method originated through spontaneous Kundalini movement flows. Gayatri has taught for over 14 years, practicing for 20 and studied directly with Kali Ray who certified her through advanced levels. Also called Devi yoga, the fluid and graceful TriYoga flow releases tensions along the spine, and the pranayama breathing series awakens energy flow. Deeply nourishing, Gayatri’s classes teach relaxation in action, and allow the natural joy of being to take over.
Through partner yoga, Gayatri helps partners deepen poses with care and comfort. The mind relaxes, the pose is supported, and bliss can take over.
Gayatri is known for her classes in San Francisco and is now based in Phoenix. She teaches at YogaMaison and MindBodySpirit Center.
Julie Engsberg recently comes from her practice in Santa Cruz, where she certified through TriYoga International and taught at the TriYoga Studio in Santa Cruz and corporations in Silicon Valley. With a Doctorate in Medical Qigong, the Chinese science of energy, Julie teaches the energetic aspects of yoga practices, how prana flows through channels, how we move it with our minds as we move or in stillness. She focuses her personal practice on “effortless effort”, the meditative aspect of yogaflow, receiving and transmitting energy through Qigong, and pranayama to build qi and remove impurities. She has over 10 years experience inspiring others to practice yoga, and has a practice in Chinese energy medicine in Sedona.
