Camping in Sedona
Camping Options in Sedona, AZ
There is dispersed camping around Sedona if that’s how you roll — eight designated locations in West Sedona, to be exact. Please note that stoves, grills, and firepits will only be permitted if operating on liquid propane.

You may also choose to camp at one of the many surrounding areas at a designated campground. Be sure to book early! Oak Creek Canyon and the surrounding Coconino National Forest have many designated campsites. Check out Reserve America’s website for info.
Average temperatures at this time of year (it’s a gorgeous time of year with the sun shining!) are 70–85 during the day and 51–62 at night.
